Two days before their debut in the 2017 Brazilian Championship, the Flamengo squad gathered at the George Helal Training Center for a training session focused on the match against Atlético-MG.

The players who played the full 90 minutes in their Copa do Brasil debut against Atlético-GO did regenerative physical work at CEP-Fla. The others started the day in the gym, but then went to the pitch.

On training field four, youth team players joined the professionals for a training session focused on passing drills. In a reduced-size area, they exchanged passes at high speed. Afterwards, they were reorganized for a full-length training session on the pitch. With Zé Ricardo providing guidance and feedback throughout, the players worked on triangulations and defensive transitions.

Thursday marked Vinícius Jr.'s first activity as a player for Flamengo's professional squad.
