The morning at the beach was full of hard work, and the afternoon in Gávea was no different. This Wednesday (March 31.03st), Flamengo returned after two days off and had no rest. In the afternoon, the red-and-blacks were divided into four teams, which faced each other in duels on both halves of the field.

Next Sunday, Flamengo faces Friburguense at 16 p.m. in Moça Bonita. The Flamengo squad that will take the field is expected to be composed of under-performing players and players from the club's youth academy. Coach Andrade explained the reason for such a demanding training session so early in the week.

"The beginning of the week is usually like this, more intense. Then, with the game on Sunday, we'll reduce the intensity of training over the next few days, focusing on the match," said the manager.

Over the next few days, Flamengo will be divided into two groups, each with different training focuses. The starting players will focus on next Wednesday's Copa Santander Libertadores match against Universidad de Chile at the Maracanã stadium. The reserves, meanwhile, will be preparing for the final round of the Taça Rio.
