By Flamengo Archive - inIn today's training session (October 17th) at Gávea, Flamengo players played a lively game. The team led by Obina, Kléberson, and Léo Moura came out on top, winning 10-5. The Flamengo striker was the standout performer, scoring two goals and providing some beautiful passes.
Immediately after the break, the players practiced penalty kicks and free kicks under the watchful eye of the red-and-black coach. Joel is confident of a good result in tomorrow's derby (October 18th), at 10:21 pm, at Maracanã. The coach practically confirmed the team, leaving the question mark regarding Renato Augusto until moments before the game.
The coach highlighted that the team's recent performances have been positive and he wants the same approach in the classic against Vasco.
"We have to try to play the football we've been playing. Tomorrow will be a tough derby, due to the fierce rivalry. We have to be fully focused and play well to win."
