With an eye on continuing its campaign in the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo resumed activities at CT George Helal, in Vargem Grande. Athletes who played in last Thursday's (13) match against Grêmio carried out regenerative training, both at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), and on the pitch. The remaining players went to Field 4, where ball work took place.

Beginning preparations for the match against Cruzeiro, coach Zé Ricardo and his assistant Cleber dos Santos led the group in an activity focused on the team's tactical aspects, focusing on precision passing and movement in the midfield. The training then focused on playmaking, with triangulations and through balls, seeking out the routes created by the flankers, behind the opposing defenders.

Finally, it was time for tactical work. The red-and-black defense received adjustments regarding positioning, while the movement practiced in the previous exercise was put into practice.

This Saturday (15), the last training session will take place before the red-black delegation travels to Belo Horizonte. On Sunday (16), Flamengo faces Cruzeiro, at Mineirão, starting at 16 pm.
