The day after the 2-0 victory over São Paulo, Mais Querido resumes activities at Ninho do Urubu, aiming for the match this Wednesday (05) against the Palestino-CHI team. At the Flamengo Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), athletes who started the match last Sunday are doing regenerative training, guided by professionals from the physical department.
Meanwhile, after completing the pre-training exercises, the remaining players went to the pitch on Field 5, where they were working with the ball in preparation for the next challenge, this time for the start of Flamengo's campaign in the Copa Sudamericana. Initially, the focus of the work was concentrated on the technical aspects, mainly on the accuracy of passing and movement. Following that, the tactical aspect received attention, with many instructions and shouts of encouragement from coach Zé Ricardo.
Defender Juan and striker Thiago Santos took part in the ball training, complementing it with specific physical exercises coordinated by trainers Daniel Gonçalves and Roberto Oliveira, respectively.
Later in the afternoon of this Monday (03), the delegation will travel to Chile, where Flamengo's debut match in the Copa Sudamericana will take place. At the San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium, located in the capital Santiago, the red-black challenge will be against Palestino-CHI, with the ball rolling from 21:45 pm.
