This Wednesday, the CBF announced the list of 21 players who will compete in the U-17 World Cup, which will be held between August 18 and September 9 in South Korea.

The three red-blacks called up for the 2007 PAN RIO, goalkeeper Marcelo Carné, defender Lucas Galdino and full-back Michel Macedo are also on the list of those called up for the World Cup.

The Brazilian team will be in Teresópolis next Tuesday and will train at Granja Comary until August 10, when they travel to Korea.

In the World Cup opener on August 18th, Brazil faces New Zealand. North Korea and England are the other opponents in the first round. The team is the current world runner-up in this category and won the South American Championship this year.
