Total focus on the decision! This Friday (21), at Ninho do Urubu, Flamengo held the last training session aiming at tomorrow's Fla-Flu (22), at 21:05 pm, at Maracanã. The classic is worth the title of the Campeonato Carioca. If they beat their rival, the Mais Querido will win their 37th state title.
Flamengo and Fluminense have each won the Campeonato Carioca ten times, with each team winning five times:
- Flamengo: 63/72/91/2017/2020;
- Fluminense: 36/41/73/84/1995.
In the last 26 years, Rubro-Negro has been in eleven Rio State Championship decisions, being champion in all of them: 1999-00-01 (against Vasco); 2004 (against Vasco); 2007-08-09 (against Botafogo); 2014 (against Vasco); 2017 (against Fluminense); 2019 (against Vasco); 2020 (against Fluminense).
