It's either today or three weeks from now. Flamengo basketball fans have a big draw this Tuesday night at 20 p.m., when Flamengo faces Paulistano, before a long period without home games. The next match at HSBC Arena, after the game against center Baby's team, is scheduled for February 26th—the derby against Joinville.

The match against the Santa Catarina team will be the third in the second round of qualifying. Before that, Flamengo travels to Espírito Santo this Thursday, where they face Vila Velha Cetaf (February 05th, 02 p.m.) and Saldanha da Gama (February 19th, 07 a.m.). The schedule includes a break during Carnival.

With a game in hand over the leaders, the team led by captain Marcelinho Machado is looking to improve the club's position in the Novo Basquete Brasil standings. Flamengo currently sits in fourth place, behind Brasília, Minas Gerais, and Joinville. A win against Flamengo will bring the team to nine wins in 13 games—the same number as the second- and third-place teams. The tiebreaker will be based on points.

Tickets for Flamengo and Paulistano can be purchased at the HSBC Arena box office before the game, scheduled for 20 p.m. Tickets for all seating sections cost R$20,00 (half-price R$10,00).
