Flamengo returned to action this Thursday afternoon at Gávea Stadium. The red-and-black team is preparing for the decisive Guanabara Cup semifinal match against Resende on Saturday at 16 p.m. at Maracanã Stadium.

After testing defender Douglas in yesterday afternoon's training match, coach Cuca decided to give Thiago Sales another opportunity in today's tactical training session. The red-and-black coach stopped the session several times to correct positioning errors. Set pieces and wing plays received a lot of attention from the manager.

The starting lineup trained with: Bruno; Airton, Fábio Luciano, and Thiago Sales; Léo Moura, Willians, Ibson, Marcelinho Paraíba, and Juan; Zé Roberto and Obina. Jônatas, who felt pain in the back of his left thigh during training on Tuesday, worked out in the gym. The number 5 has significantly improved from the muscle pain and will return to training normally tomorrow.
