Many times in this Brazilian Championship, Flamengo played well but didn't win the points they deserved. At other times, they took the lead only to concede an equalizer. The team experienced moments where bad luck was the issue, and others where nothing seemed to go right. But, as the current Flamengo coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, the team's fourth manager this year, likes to say, "let's talk about the good things, we'll leave the bad ones behind."
Defender Ronaldo Angelim, for example, has nothing but praise for the group. According to him, the team always trusted in his potential and never stopped believing. The defender only regrets that this motivation and positive results didn't come sooner, but celebrates the fact that the team is finally clicking with Luxemburgo's arrival.
"That's what happens with a change of coach. We knew the group was good, but we weren't showing it on the field. With Luxemburgo's arrival, we're playing differently and the results have started to come," he stated.
The number 4 player highlighted the great victory over Internacional, the current Libertadores champion, and expressed confidence in a series of positive results in the remaining rounds until the end of the year.
"Against Inter, we had a good victory, against a difficult opponent. I hope it continues like this from now on," he concluded.
