Flamengo played its 14th game of 2010 last Wednesday, suffering only its second setback of the season. A positive record, but one that has left the Gávea team somewhat unaccustomed: the team doesn't quite know what it's like to lose. Coach Andrade and the players discussed this strong start to the year after the match against Universidad de Chile.

For the coach, the team is aware that it will not be able to win every match, despite its strength.

"Flamengo never comes here to lose. Nobody likes to lose. But this defeat could be overturned at home later on. The team is calm. The group knows it's strong and that, even so, it won't be able to win every game. Everyone is aware of their responsibilities," he stated.

Despite this, Fierro revealed that the feeling after the game was not the best.

"We're sorry we lost today, because we're not used to losing. The team hadn't lost in a few games, but this happens. We can't get discouraged," he said.

Serbian Petkovic, who came on during the game, agrees. And, according to him, it's good that the team doesn't get used to defeats.

\

"We made some mistakes that we don't usually make, but it's a recoverable defeat. The team isn't used to losing, and I hope they don't get used to it, but sometimes it happens. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes so they don't happen again in the future," he concluded.

Since taking over Flamengo, in the match against Santos in the 2009 Brazilian Championship, coach Andrade has only lost seven matches in 42, with eight draws and 27 wins.
