A sequence that can boost morale

Games against Cruzeiro, Santos and São Paulo will be real tests of fire for Flamengo

Cruzeiro in Minas Gerais, Santos in Rio, and São Paulo in São Paulo. These are Flamengo's next three matches in the Brazilian Championship. Flamengo, a team the Gávea team hasn't beaten since 2007, is the current Copa do Brasil champion and the most successful team in the history of the Brazilian Championship, with six titles alongside the Rubro-Negro. Flamengo is not having a good time in the competition.

A difficult and decisive sequence for Rubro-Negro. Victories prove the team is firmly in contention for the top spots, and losses could push the team out of the top four and out of title defense. Knowing this, the players believe this is the time to give their all on the field.

"There's no such thing as an easy game, and these are the great football classics. Motivation must be present in every game, but these matches are decisive, and we have to be very focused," said midfielder Correa.

Defender Jean reveals that the group is aware of the importance of this sequence and believes that Flamengo is close to reaching its ideal performance to seek victories.

"We're aware of that. We've had three games against teams that were theoretically easier and only got one point. Now we have three games that are theoretically more difficult, and I believe the team is on the rise, evolving, and it won't be long before we reach our ideal form. We'll have better luck," he concluded.
