On the eve of the decisive matches of the Campeonato Carioca, football raises the white flag. In a union between the Rio de Janeiro Football Federation, Flamengo, Vasco, Botafogo, and Fluminense, the #PeaceInFootball campaign is strengthened to call for an end to violence, to defend fans, and to maintain the rivalry on the pitch.
After a series of meetings at FERJ headquarters with representatives from the city's four major clubs, this pioneering peace effort will be implemented through institutional, operational, educational, and marketing initiatives. Fans will witness interactions between players on social media, clearly demonstrating the campaign's slogan: "Enemies, yes; enemies, never."
The #PazNoFutebol campaign was born with a strong identity and wants to leave its mark. Responsible for the guidelines, a committee was created with representatives from Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo, Vasco, and FERJ. The brand carries the colors of the state's four major clubs, with modern contours, a direct message, and the implicit desire: "We are all one."
