Vagner Love didn't win his first title with Flamengo, but the Flamengo fans have nothing but good things to say about the striker. In his first competition for the Gávea club, the "Artilheiro do Amor" (Love's Artilleryman) fulfilled his role, finishing the Campeonato Carioca as the top scorer with 15 goals.

Love arrived at the club earlier this year and won over the nation upon his debut, scoring twice against Bangu at the Engenhão stadium. This season, the striker has already found the net 17 times, 15 of them in the state championship, and finished the championship with the most goals in the competition.
