Vagner Love welcomes Ronaldinho and says "if it were up to me, he would be here today"

It's not just the so-called anonymous fans who are filling Gávea stadium this Wednesday (January 12.01). Striker Vagner Love, who played for the Rubro-Negro in the first half of the year and is a declared Flamengo fan, is also at the club's headquarters to welcome Ronaldinho. Moved by the show the fans have been putting on in these moments leading up to the event, Love even declared, in an interview with the official website, that he dreams of returning to the club.
Ronaldinho's friend, Vagner, says he's in Gávea as a passionate Flamengo fan. He spoke with the club's new signing after the deal and spoke about the feeling of wearing the sacred jersey in a packed stadium.
"I hadn't spoken to him before, but after he agreed, I explained that everything here is different. Flamengo is unlike anything else he's ever experienced in his life, even though he played for big clubs. Today I'm here as a fan, passionate about Flamengo," he said.
The striker doesn't deny his desire to return to Brazil, to Flamengo. He has a four-year contract with CSKA, but he guarantees he'll do everything possible to try to play alongside Ronaldinho at his favorite club.
"When I came in and saw those fans, I even cried. I have a four-year contract there in Russia, but let's see if I can get back sooner. If it were up to me, I would perform with him today, in front of that crowd," he added.
