Striker Val Baiano will not travel with the Flamengo group for this Wednesday's match (08.09), at Morumbi, in São Paulo. After defining the game this Tuesday (07.09) in favor of the team wearing the red vest, scoring a goal in the final minutes of the activity, the Rubro-Negro's number 9 will stay in Rio to prepare for next Saturday's game (11.09), against Vitória, at the Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, in Volta Redonda.

"I'm happy to know that Silas is counting on me. The ball will go in at the right time. I'll be available against Vitória, and even if I'm on the bench, I want to help Flamengo," he said.

The player felt chest pains on Tuesday after training and was not included in the squad. However, coach Silas is expected to include him for the weekend's game. The striker is still searching for his first goal for Flamengo.

Crack - The red-vested team, led by the ever-playful defender David Braz, won another game in the traditional recreational tournament that takes place at Flamengo on the eve of matches. And this Tuesday, the celebration was complete at Gávea, complete with chants of "Bambi's team" in reference to the opponent. Check out the photos of the event below.
