Offers to play for another club have surfaced this year, but striker Vandinho is determined to prove he can live up to the investment made in his signing last year. After enjoying a special year, as the player himself describes it, he hopes to have more opportunities to play and establish himself as a starter.

"I know a transfer also depends on the club's needs, but I want to stay, and I told Cuca that. Last year was special because I had a great time at Avaí and fulfilled the dream of several players, which is to play for Flamengo. I ended up being hampered by an injury, but the situation will be different now. I'm going to find my place on the team and help Flamengo win titles."

To achieve his goal, Vadinho relies on an open and sincere relationship with coach Cuca.
