In the busy press conference on Thursday afternoon, player Adriano highlighted the fact that he started at Flamengo very early.

"I started here when I was just seven years old. Today I put on the shirt and it felt like I was seven years old. I'm seeing a lot of people again, a lot of employees, who have seen me since I was little. For me, this is very gratifying, very important - people looking at me and saying: 'I'm happy you're back at Flamengo,'" said the striker during his presentation, alongside the club's acting president, Delair Dumbrosck; the (leave-in) president, Marcio Braga; the vice-president of football, Kleber Leite; Flamengo's football director, Plínio Serpa Pinto; and the athlete's agent, Gilmar Rinaldi.
