One year after making his professional debut for Flamengo, forward Vinicius Junior is currently experiencing the best moment of his career, being a key player in Barbieri's system. The number 20 spoke with FlaTV and discussed his evolution in the first team and the great year he's had.

"It's been very good for me and for the whole group. We're always doing what coach Maurício asks, and most of the plays I make are for the team. Whenever I can help in some way, I do. When I don't score goals, I give assists. Everton Ribeiro is very grateful. I'm improving a lot, and in 2018 I'm realizing dreams I've always had."

Vinicius also recalled his most important goals while wearing the sacred jersey and spoke about the emotion of scoring at the Maracanã.

"The goals against Emelec and Vasco were also great. It was my first at the Maracanã, where I always dreamed of playing, and now scoring there is fantastic."

Finally, the young striker spoke about the work done in the club's youth system and the blend of youth and experience in the squad.

"Flamengo has always been helping us both on and off the field. With the mix of experienced players and youth that we have, we are forming a wonderful squad."
