Flamengo, making its debut in the second round of the Brazilian Men's Club Cup, currently being played in São Paulo at the Ciro II gymnasium, led V&M Minas 2-2 in the second half. But in less than two minutes, the Minas Gerais team turned the tables and won 0-3. This was a real blow to coach Cid Escarlate's team, who had been in control of the game.

Both teams entered the court looking to attack from the start. With experienced players on both sides, Minas Gerais and Flamengo played a competitive game. Chances arose, and the Rio de Janeiro team capitalized, opening the scoring. Eleven minutes into the game, Xandó received a good pass and struck well, leaving Bianchini with no chance.

In the second half, the Gávea team continued to capitalize on their chances and scored their second goal, scored by defender Magrão. However, in an incredible comeback that lasted just over a minute, Minas took control. With just over four minutes remaining, the Minas team began to rally. At 26'13", Dieguinho scored for Minas. At 27'08", Diece equalized, and nine seconds later, Dieguinho scored again, giving Minas the victory.

With the result, the Rio de Janeiro team remained pointless, as did Jardim Limoeiro (ES). Minas jumped to six points and leads the group alone, but could be overtaken by São Paulo/Construban, who will play their second game in the group against São José, Flamengo's opponent this Friday.
