The center forward celebrated the opportunity and emphasized the importance of the work that resulted in the goal scored in the derby. "I have to be prepared. The goal gave me a lot of confidence. I've never lacked commitment. I've always been working hard, and now I need to continue with this determination and total dedication to my work, because regardless of who takes the field, I'm sure they'll give their best for the team and for Flamengo," assured the "Boy from the Nest."
Vizeu wasn't at his best wearing the Sacred Mantle. However, fluctuations in performance are natural for young athletes, as the center forward emphasizes. "I'm twenty years old, so it's normal. My response is to always be working. I come to the training center as if it were a final," he commented, recalling his preparation for the Fla-Flu match. "It was during the pre-match training session that I knew I would start playing. From that moment on, my focus became much more focused on the game. I tried to watch plays from previous matches, and that helped me. I know what I've done, I know what I can do, and it was a very important game. I kept my cool, kept my head high, and thought, 'It has to be today.' Thank God everything worked out," he celebrated.
Despite the important classification, the next commitments are approaching and the focus returns to the Brazilian Championship. At 17 pm this Sunday (05), Mais Querido will face Grêmio, in a match that will be held in Porto Alegre. Vizeu projected the continuity of Rubro-Negro in the national competition, aiming for the top positions in the table.
"We have to stay focused, Wednesday's game is over. We have to turn our attention to the Brasileirão. We have to take it one game at a time, because we can reach the top. We have to remain very humble and dedicated, because it will be a very difficult match. I hope we can get a positive result," he analyzed.
