Flamengo had three athletes called up to the Brazilian U-20 team that will compete in the South American Championship in Ecuador. On Wednesday (7), the same day that Conmebol drew the groups for the competition, coach Rogério Micale released the list of 23 players related to the tournament with the red-blacks Felipe Vizeu, Lucas Paquetá and Matheus Sávio. The three boys defended the Amarelinha in October of this year in a quadrangular of selections in Chile, a competition that was preparatory for the South American.
The U-20 delegation will arrive at Granja Comary on Monday (12) to begin preparations. The team will remain in Teresópolis until December 23, when they will be released for the end-of-year festivities. On January 2, 2017, players and coaching staff will resume work at the Brazilian National Team's training center.
