Working for coach Rogério Micale since last year, this was these athletes' first experience with the training center's professional module. Midfielder Lucas Paquetá was impressed when talking about the facilities at the new Ninho do Urubu and promised to work hard to make the most of this investment. "It looks beautiful. We're going to make the most of everything Flamengo is offering us to strive for titles and achieve many victories here at the club," he said.

Matheus Sávio discussed the start of his preparations with his teammates and the club's coaching staff, as well as discussing upcoming competitions. "We missed preseason due to the South American Championship, but now our full focus is on the Campeonato Carioca and the Primeira Liga. We have to be prepared," the midfielder emphasized.

Promoted after winning last year's São Paulo Junior Football Cup, Felipe Vizeu played a key role in the campaign that resulted in the senior team's qualification for this year's Copa Libertadores. Back at Ninho, the center forward is projecting a successful year for the Mais Querido. "We know the responsibility of returning to Flamengo, and we aim for titles. May this season be a very good one for us, and may we achieve satisfactory results," he commented.

The three Garotos do Ninho trained alongside the athletes who did not travel to Brasília to face América-MG in the Primeira Liga Cup, as well as athletes who are part of the current Flamengo under-20 team. At Bezerrão Stadium, Flamengo will face the Minas Gerais team this Thursday (16), starting at 21:30 pm.
