Coach Ney Franco received two pieces of good news this Thursday: Renato Augusto's return to the club and, later in the afternoon, confirmation of Ibson's loan. The coach was thrilled.
"Ibson solves a problem. He can play as a right-hander or as a midfielder," Ney said.
"He's a player who grew up at the club. He really connects with the fans and is motivated to return," he said.
With the Brazilian team's elimination from the U-20 World Cup, Renato Augusto is back in the red-black squad.
"I expected him later. The player will be training this Monday and will be selected for Thursday's game," he concluded.
