Striker Diogo has barely arrived at Flamengo and is already gaining the trust of his new teammates. The player had his first training session with the Rubro-Negro last Tuesday (August 24.08), and his dedication during the activity earned praise from the other members of the squad. Deivid, who traveled to Turkey to resolve personal issues before reporting for duty to Flamengo on Friday (August 27.08), also won the support of the players.

"The guy is eager. The player comes in wanting to play, and that motivates the group even more to do their best. Diogo was playing, and a teammate we're rooting for, Deivid, isn't making his debut yet, but he's eager to help. They're two great players, with a lot of quality, good finishing, and they'll be a huge help to the team," said captain Leonardo Moura.

Midfielder Correa, also signed during this transfer window, believes the team will soon find its feet with the arrival of the new attackers. According to him, the group has the ability to, with hard work, compete for the top spots in the Brasileirão.

"When you have quality, things will fall into place. It won't happen overnight, of course, but Diogo will adapt. He's a quality player, the group is good to work with, and we hope everyone gets along. They have everyone's trust," said the number 7, who believes the squad is strengthened for the rest of the season, but asks that not all the responsibility be placed on the reinforcements.

"Every great player is very welcome. But you can't place all the responsibility on them. Their arrival strengthens the group; they are quality players, and there is great hope that they can help, be healthy, and that the goals can come. Each player has to take their share of responsibility," he concluded.
