After the match against São Paulo, on Sunday (10.05), the Flamengo squad returned on Tuesday afternoon (12.05), at the George Helal Training Center, to continue training for the Brazilian Championship.

The players who participated in last Sunday's match worked out in the gym before heading out onto the field, where they ran laps of the turf. The other athletes also trained in the gym. Afterwards, they performed technical work and passed on the field.

The red-and-black squad continues working hard for the Brasileirão. Their next match is against Sport, next Sunday (May 17.05), and marks the Mais Querido's debut at Maracanã in their quest for the seventh title. Tickets are now on sale - click here to learn more. After the activities, captain Wallace gave a press conference and discussed his expectations for the championship. "At Flamengo, the pressure is normal. (Against São Paulo) We played well in the first half, but it wasn't enough. With a little more ambition, we can go far. Football is about results, and defeats have a greater impact on Flamengo. Our team is self-critical, and we have to maintain our posture on the field," he stated.
