Wallace: "We have to think game by game"
Defender speaks to the press and highlights the importance of the direct confrontation with Grêmio.

The Flamengo squad returned to training on Tuesday morning (October 27.10th) at the George Helal Training Center. Defender Wallace was interviewed at a press conference and lamented the series of defeats in the Brazilian Championship, but viewed the team's attitude in the match against Corinthians on Sunday (October 25.10th) positively.
"Fluctuation is normal, but we didn't expect this negative streak. We lost some points that we shouldn't have. Not everything is perfect, but it can improve. I'm dissatisfied because we could be up there. We played well against Corinthians, on equal terms. Something has to happen again for us to start winning again," he stated.
The defender also points out that, despite Flamengo's poor performance in the Brazilian Championship, the team still has a chance to qualify for the Libertadores Cup and faces a crucial challenge to solidify its position in the fight.
"We're close to the top four. We have to think game by game. Against Grêmio it's a direct confrontation. We have to do something extra to get back to winning. I believe it's long overdue," he said.
