That's how midfielder Willian Arão summed up the Flamengo squad's mindset for the decisive matches against Grêmio in the CONMEBOL Libertadores semifinals. The player gave a press conference after training this morning in Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul. The number 5 spoke about the team's preparation and stated that the squad is ready for the first match this Wednesday at 21:30 pm at the Grêmio Arena.
"We're definitely preparing for big moments like this. We're very prepared in every aspect. We're very comfortable here at the training camp, not having to travel far to work. Training isn't just on the field, but also through video lectures. The coach has a strategy for each game. We try to do what he asks," he says.
The midfielder said that Flamengo is vaccinated against anxiety and that its performance in the Conmebol Libertadores is increasingly improving.
