Midfielder Willians, who completed 100 games for Flamengo last Wednesday (03.11), when the team drew 2-2 with Ceará, at Castelão, for the Brazilian Championship, will be honored by the red-black board this Sunday (07.11). Moments before the match with Atlético Paranaense, at Estádio da Cidadania, in Volta Redonda, Willians will be presented with a plaque and a commemorative shirt with the number 100.

Signed by the Gávea club in late 2008 after excelling in defense for Santo André, Willians made his Flamengo debut on January 25, 2009, in a 1-0 victory over Friburguense at Maracanã in the Campeonato Carioca. Since then, the midfielder has amassed 47 wins, 29 draws, 24 losses, and three goals for Flamengo, in addition to winning the Campeonato Carioca and last year's Campeonato Brasileiro.

"I have a strong connection with Flamengo and its fans. Completing 100 games wearing the club's jersey is a source of great pride and I'm happy to receive this honor from the board," said the number 8.
