26-year-old defender Bruno Viana is Mengão's first signing for next season. He arrives on loan from Braga (POR) until the end of 2021.

The player signed a contract with Mais Querido this Friday, at Ninho do Urubu, visited the CT and had his first contact with coach Rogério Ceni.

"Nation, I'm coming! I can't wait to see you at Maracanã!" said Bruno Viana in his first message to the red-and-black fans.

Born in Macaé, Bruno Viana began his career with Cruzeiro. After standing out, he transferred to Olympiakos in Greece. He later played for Braga in Portugal. He has been with the Portuguese club since 2017.
