After training this afternoon at Gávea, defender Leonardo was officially introduced as a new Flamengo player. The former Goiás and Palmeiras player shared his skills with the Flamengo fans.

- "I'm a very strong player physically. I'm good at aerial balls because of my height. I hope to do a great job here at Flamengo."

The defender showed all his joy in wearing the Flamengo shirt.

- "It's a huge responsibility to play for Flamengo. I'll work hard to seize this opportunity. I hope to win many titles and make history for the club. Playing with the support of these fans will be wonderful."

Leonardo has been training at Gávea since the beginning of the week and hopes to be available to coach Joel Santana for the next rounds.

- "I've been working hard on my physical condition since Tuesday. I hope to be ready to play for Flamengo within a week."
