We noticed the difference after a few days of training compared to our opponents. They have speed and work hard in transition. They waited for us for moments during the match and were successful on the counterattack. We can learn from them. We need to make adjustments, as we already have our Carioca debut next week.

The plan included these changes. We didn't want to risk any athlete experiencing a greater load. We're coming off ten days of some full-time training, so it wouldn't be ideal to expose the team to more than 45 minutes. I also wanted to monitor our squad. We have adjustments to make, but there are positive things we can take away from this match.

He came highly recommended. We did a lot of research on him. After exchanging information with some professionals in Peru, we concluded he was the ideal athlete to integrate into the group. He participated very well during the training he did with us these first few days. Today he performed well and showed a lot of personality.

This was my first experience. We talked a lot, and it's taken time to adapt to this new position. Mancuello is extremely intelligent, participative, and collaborative. Other opportunities will arise. With him closer to Diego, good things will certainly come of it. However, I won't give up working there with athletes who have different characteristics, with different ways of playing.
