"We did some tactical work, we observed some situations, but it was very short work, as we were still in recovery work. Tomorrow morning we will finish preparing for the game," said the coach.

Zé then spoke about Colombian striker Orlando Berrío's first match. The Colombian striker came on in the second half of the Primeira Liga Cup match against Grêmio, scoring his goal in his debut for the Mais Querido. "He can play where Mancu is playing or further forward. We have a few options," however, the coach urged caution. "He's not yet in top condition. In the last game, he only played 30 minutes and even then felt very tired. We'll evaluate his condition further, but if possible, he'll be used during the game," he added.

Taking stock of the rapid adaptation of the newcomers to the squad, the Flamengo manager praised the group's close-knit atmosphere.
