With an eye on this Saturday's classic (08) against Vasco, Mais Querido finalized its preparations for the match at Ninho do Urubu, with technical training focused on maintaining possession under pressure and improving passing accuracy. Athletes who started the last match, which resulted in a 5-2 victory over Palestino-CHI, in the red-black debut in the Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, carried out regenerative training, both at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), and on the pitch.

After pre-training activities, the remaining group headed to Field 5 for technical training. Using half the field, passing practice was followed by training on a reduced-size pitch, with Juan and Thiago Santos participating, the latter in the final stages of recovery from surgery earlier this year.

Juan, Rhodolfo, Willian Arão, and Márcio Araújo, led by coach Zé Ricardo, performed specific training focused on getting the ball out of the defense. Meanwhile, Paolo Guerrero and Miguel Trauco practiced direct free kicks at the goal defended by young goalkeeper Yago Darub, who plays for the Garotos do Ninho under-20 team.

The squad will remain concentrated at Ninho do Urubu this Friday (07). Light work will be carried out in the afternoon, as well as video analysis. This Saturday (08), Zé Ricardo's team will face Vasco da Gama in São Januário, with the ball rolling from 18 pm.
