Match analysis
"Guerrero's technical condition is undeniable. He's a great scorer, a great player. We knew that if he felt comfortable in the group, we'd get the best out of him. This is happening game by game. We've established some areas for him to play on the field so he can perform. He also helps with marking."
"In every game, the difference ends up being the size of our fans. We'd have to turn that into motivation. We won't have the Maracanã until the end of the competition. We want to get there in a position to fight for the Brazilian title. There are still 21 games left; we'll have two more this week and then the entire second half. With the arrival of reinforcements and what we had in the squad, Flamengo has to establish itself to compete in both competitions. When we play well, we're close to victory."

Match analysis
"Important result, a very difficult match. Coritiba hadn't been defeated here at Couto Pereira (in this Brasileirão) yet, and they were improving. We had to be focused. The match wasn't at a high level, but from the middle of the first half onwards, we controlled the game a bit more. In the second half, after the first goal, Coritiba had two more key attackers, and that made things a bit more difficult. It was a good match because we didn't want to fall too far behind the leaders. We know Corinthians and Santos won.
Cirino's goal
Marcelo (Cirino) was out for two rounds. He was on a very long run, 12 games, so we decided to rest him. He's an important athlete, with physical ability and a knack for playing down the right flank. With Coritiba playing more, the goal ended up happening.
Donatti's debut
- Donatti came in and played well. We knew he wouldn't be able to play the whole time. Juan ended up coming off as a precaution, and Donatti did well.
Guerrero
"Guerrero's technical condition is undeniable. He's a great scorer, a great player. We knew that if he felt comfortable in the group, we'd get the best out of him. This is happening game by game. We've established some areas for him to play on the field so he can perform. He also helps with marking."
Good "headache"
- Leandro (Damião) and Vizeu are very good options. They're both motivated and working together. Flamengo is well-served in this position. For the two competitions we have, we'll certainly need all three.

Can you think of a title?

Team evolution
"The game against América-MG had a different character, a defensive stance in the first half. Every game has its own story. The important thing is to have awareness and maturity to understand the game, to understand the opponent's strategy. I'm happy for the team, which had a good week at the training center. With the power we have from midfield forward, we'll likely create scoring opportunities."
Lineup against Santos
"I don't know yet. We rested Réver, who had been out for a long time. We want to keep our injury rate low. Juan felt discomfort in his left calf, so we took him off as a precaution. We can't risk losing him. Regarding the other changes, we'll change them a bit more. Santos plays at a high intensity. If we're not at our best physically, we'll suffer."
Ideal team
"I confess that I don't have an ideal team yet, but I'm trying to further enhance our squad. They'll be in demand. One example is Chiquinho, who hasn't played in a long time and held up well.
