This Friday (25) marked the beginning of the final stretch of Flamengo's preparation to face Santos in the penultimate round of the Brazilian Championship. Zé Ricardo led technical training focused on building plays on the sides of the field, followed by tactical work in order to make adjustments to the team's positioning and movement.
After a quick physical activity at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the athletes took to the field to warm up. Technical training began next, based on the creation of defensive players. Athletes from all areas of the field participated in the work, improving passing accuracy and enhancing the connection between defense and attack with quick passes through the center and along the wings.

The tactical training aimed to put into practice what was worked on in the first part of the activity. The red-and-black manager gave the players several instructions on how to adjust the team for the upcoming challenge, providing the squad with information regarding the opponent's playing style.

The match against Santos will take place this Sunday (27), at Maracanã. The game will start at 17 pm.
