With a tactical training session held at Field 5 of Ninho do Urubu this Saturday morning, Flamengo concluded its preparations for the match against Botafogo, valid for the fourth round of the Brazilian Championship. In the afternoon, the delegation will travel to Volta Redonda, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, where the match will be played.
After a quick pre-workout session at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the warm-up session began with a ball on the field. Next, the session, led by physical trainer Daniel Gonçalves, focused on physical activity, with muscle activation and stretching exercises.

Afterwards, coach Zé Ricardo guided the players through tactical work, which consisted of rehearsing set pieces, outlining the team that would start the match. For free kicks near the penalty area, the coach adjusted the team's positioning for these types of plays, emphasizing the offensive aspect.

After tactical training, it was time for recreational work. Diego scored the decisive goal for the orange team, a truly stunning bicycle kick in the final minute of the match. The midfielder found the net once more, and Vinicius Júnior also scored in the 3-2 victory. Adryan scored both goals for the blue team.

Closing the session at Ninho do Urubu, Paolo Guerrero and Ederson practiced free kicks directly at goal. Meanwhile, on the other side of the field, part of the group participated in a training session on a reduced-size pitch.

This Sunday (04), Flamengo will face Botafogo at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, with the ball rolling from 11 am.
