After Sunday's defeat (12), against Figueirense, interim coach Zé Ricardo spoke with journalists. At the press conference, he analyzed the match and stated that he disagreed with the final result of the game.

Operation

We worked hard to get a better result. Unfortunately, especially in the second half, despite creating many chances, the ball just didn't go in. We could have tied, and I believe we even had the chance to turn the game around.

Team fixes

We lacked composure, sometimes competence, and even luck. The championship is tough. This makes our opponents even tougher. I still feel like the team has quality and a good squad. It's just a matter of getting it right to compete at the top of the table. 

Game outside Rio

Playing here at Scarpelli, just like the match against Palmeiras, is difficult. We could have had better results. I don't see that as having anything to do with the team.
