They say history is the study of the past to understand the present. In the case of Flamengo's interactive exhibition in Gávea, history not only explains the club's greatness but also inspires, moves, and enchants even those who are directly involved. This is the case with Zé Ricardo, the current coach of the professional soccer team and this year's São Paulo Junior Soccer Cup champion leading the under-20 team. When he saw the trophy he won in January, the coach couldn't hide his emotion.

"On the day we won, emotion took over us all. The trophy was passed around among the boys, and then we quickly returned to Rio. I've never really had the opportunity to see the cup like this, with such care and attention," said Zé Ricardo, with a sparkle in his eyes. He also recounted the most memorable moment of the victory.

"I was on the bench during the penalty shootout. The image I have is of the ball going in for Patrick's last penalty, and the boys running to the middle of the field, the coaching staff too, everyone hugging each other. It was one of the most emotional moments of my career," he recalled.

The coach, who has been doing a great job leading the team, currently second in the Brasileirão, approved the exhibition.

"It's a very rewarding experience, knowing that we're at a club with so many glories and achievements, and that has stirred and will continue to stir so many passions. I'm very happy and feel blessed to learn more about Flamengo's wonderful history," he concluded.
