Letícia da Costa, Flamengo's only representative on the Brazilian youth artistic gymnastics team, which competed in the South American Championship in the category last weekend in Lima, Peru, finished in 4th place overall.

The red-black athlete scored 53.400 points and shared the spot with Argentina's Sofia Makre, after performing well on all four apparatus.

Letícia secured the highest score on the vault (14.150). Next, the red-and-black athlete, who is following in the footsteps of Jade Barbosa, performed on the uneven parallel bars, obtaining a score of 12.000.

Charm and swagger on the floor. Letícia earned a score of 13.800 on the apparatus. On the balance beam, she received a score of 13.450.

The competitions were held at the Coliseu Miguel Grau, between September 12th and 14th. The athlete returned to Brazil this Monday (15/9).
