Last week, Daniele Hypólito helped Brazil win its first silver medal with the newly formed women's artistic gymnastics team. Now it's Diego Hypólito's turn to shine.
The gymnast will compete this Friday in the qualifying round of the Cottbus, Germany, World Cup event. The current three-time World Cup Super Final floor champion will present changes to his routine on this apparatus, as well as attempt to qualify for the vault and parallel bars.
"With the change in the scoring code, I had to make some modifications to my floor routine. The first two steps will be highly difficult, as execution will be highly valued. Another change is that I will no longer be performing the "Hypólito" movement. A "new Hypólito" is already ready and should be presented at the Glasgow, Scotland, stage," stated Diego.
In addition to Diego, Brazil will be represented by Mosiah Rodrigues and Arthur Zanetti.
