Fla athlete at the Mexican Open
Milena Theodoro is one of the five Brazilian gymnasts participating in the international competition
By Communication - Official Club Website - inFlamengo's Milena Theodoro will participate in an important international competition from November 28th to 30th. It's the Mexican Open of artistic gymnastics, which will welcome, in addition to the Flamengo player, five other representatives of the Brazilian National Team (four girls and one boy). Last Monday (November 25.11th), the Brazilian delegation embarked for Acapulco, the venue of the competition.
"Milena is truly a Brazilian national team-level athlete and is capable of doing a good job. However, it's difficult to predict where she will place, as the level of competition will be high. Mexico has a good team, as does the United States, and despite it being a friendly tournament, the participating athletes are of high quality," said Ana Paula Luck, Flamengo's artistic gymnastics coordinator.
The championship will also feature athletes from countries such as the United States, Romania, Japan, Spain, Colombia, Canada, China, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, and Uzbekistan competing in the Individual All-Around. Brazil's coaches will be Marcos Goto, Iryna Ilyashenko, and Francisco Porath Neto, from Flamengo.
