The competition will be held at the end of June, in São Bernardo do Campo
By Helena Petry - inLess than two months before the biggest national competition of the year, the gymnasts of Mais Querido intensified their daily training with a view to competing in the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship. This Tuesday (08), the modality held an open training session, where the athletes received press professionals and showed a little of their preparation for the tournament, which will be held between June 22nd and 24th, in the city of São Bernardo do Campo, in São Paulo.
Since 2016 at the club, this will be Flávia Saraiva's first Brazilian Championship defending Rubro-Negro.
"I have high expectations; it's been four years since I competed in the Brazilian Championship. I've been with Flamengo for two years now, and I hope to be able to compete, represent my club incredibly well, and bring many medals and joy to everyone," said Flavinha.
Beatriz Simões, Flávia Saraiva, Isabelle Retamiro, Jade Barbosa, Lorrane Dos Santos, Lorenna Antunes, Luisa Kirchmayer, Maria Cecília Oliveira, and Milenny Esteves are registered for the tournament. Rebeca Andrade, recovering from left knee surgery in October of last year, is still doubtful for the competition.
