From next Friday (07.02) until Sunday (09.02), the artistic gymnastics girls will be in Texas, competing for the Brazilian National Team. Isabelle Cruz, Julie Sinmon and Letícia Costa, for the Adult category, and Milena Theodoro and Rebeca Andrade, for the Youth category, travel to the United States for the WOGA Classic International tournament.

On the first day of the event, teams will only train. On the 08th and 09th, the competition will take place between the participating countries. In addition to Brazil, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico, China, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, and Australia will bring representatives from the sport.

The gymnasts' coach, Ricardo Pereira, assures that the athletes are very well prepared to go to the United States. "I trained the girls well for this competition. We're hopeful of achieving something, but the level (of the championship) is high, with several countries with traditions. The girls trained very well in the preseason. In the categories we'll compete in, I believe the Juniors have a better chance of better rankings," he said.
