The call for entries for the World Challenge Cup Series, the artistic gymnastics World Cup to be held from May 1st to 3rd, has been released. The event will bring together athletes from 13 countries, including Brazil, to compete at the Ipirapuera gymnasium in São Paulo. Rebeca Andrade and Letícia Costa will represent Flamengo on the Brazilian national team.

Rebeca, just 15 years old, recently returned from Slovenia, where won bronze in his first competition international in the Adult category. The medal came on the uneven bars at the Ljubljana World Cup. Letícia Costa was the overall champion and won three more medals at the Houston National Invitation in February in the United States. 

"I'm the third oldest member of the national team, and it will be my first World Cup. I've never been to a competition like this before, so the experience will be unique. I'll give it my all. I'm training so that new streaks will be worthwhile in the future. I hope that those who enjoy this sport will give us positive energy so that, when the time comes, it will combine with our willpower and make us perform powerful streaks in front of the referees (laughs). I joke like that, but it's really what I want. It's a bit nerve-wracking, but I'm ready."
