The year 2008 had barely ended and the CBG (Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation) had already released the provisional calendar for national and international competitions in 2009.

According to the calendar, the first international commitment of the Brazilian team's gymnasts will be the Montreal (Canada) stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, to be held between March 4th and 9th.

The gymnasts will then proceed directly to the Doha stage, Qatar's main city. Competitions are scheduled for March 10th, 11th, and 12th.

The Hypólito brothers, gymnasts from CRFlamengo, will also compete this year in the Caixa Circuit final (6/12) and the World Cup Grand Final, on 13 and 14/12, in Madrid, Spain.
