Clube de Regatas do Flamengo deeply mourns the passing of Sérgio Jatobá. The former coach and general coordinator of Flamengo's artistic gymnastics team was one of the sport's greatest names in Brazil, having represented the country as both an athlete and coach.

Coach of Mais Querido for more than 20 years, Jatobá was responsible for training some of the club's top gymnasts between the 1970s and 90s, including Roberto Nassar, current commander of the Rubro-Negro men's team.
