Under the command of veteran Daniele Hypolito, the Brazilian women's artistic gymnastics team will debut this Friday (03.09), at 14 pm (Brasília time), at the Pre-Pan in Guadalajara, Mexico. Daniele also counts on the presence and strength of Gabriela Soares, her teammate.

Brazil is in the second group, which also includes Colombia, Canada, Peru, and mixed teams (a group made up of gymnasts from countries that did not field full teams). The apparatus finals will be held on Saturday.

"I am very confident that Brazil can achieve positive results as a team and individually. Our 15-day preparation in Mexico was excellent and I believe we can secure a spot in the 2011 Pan American Games," said Daniele.
