Daniele Hypólito is confirmed in the Brazilian artistic gymnastics team for the 2009-2012 Olympic cycle. After a selection held at the National Gymnastics Center in Curitiba, lasting three days, the CBG selected nine gymnasts to make up the Brazilian team.

Jade Barbosa, who is still recovering from a serious wrist injury, will be evaluated later, when she is able to perform all movements.

In addition to Daniele, as a starter, Letícia da Costa, one of the sport's great promises, is among the team's five reserves.

The gymnasts' first commitment in 2009 will be in March, in Italy.
