If last Friday Diego Hypolito shone by winning the title in the individual all-around at the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship, this Saturday it was Daniele Hypolito's turn to climb to the top of the podium in the women's category, after scoring 55.100 points. Jade Barbosa took bronze (52.900 points), behind gymnast Bruna Leal, who secured silver (54.150 points).

Having achieved first place in the city of Vitória, in Espírito Santo, the Flamengo gymnast became nine-time Brazilian champion (1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2010) in the individual all-around.

"This ninth Brazilian title has a special flavor. 2010 has been a very important year in my career, with a lot of dedication to training and competitions, and without any injuries. I intend to keep this pace to arrive even stronger at the World Championships in the Netherlands in October," commented Daniele, who won three more medals in the apparatus finals: gold on the floor and parallel bars, and silver on the balance beam.

On the parallel bar, Flamengo was the only winner. Behind Daniele were Letícia Costa, with 12.950, and Gabriela Soares, with 12.550. On the vault, Jade Barbosa was the best with 14.675.
